Statement of Faith
We are a non-denominational, independent group of believers that adhere to the following fundamentals of God’s word:
ABOUT THE HOLY BIBLE:
The Bible is the Inspired Word of God.
11 Timothy 3:16,17; 1 Peter 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:12
ABOUT THE ONE TRUE GOD:
There is one God: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; The Holy Trinity; who subsist in unity, and also as three separate distinct Persons. The One True God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent, self-revealed “I AM.”
Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29; Isaiah 43:10-12; Matthew 28:19
ABOUT JESUS CHRIST:
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead and after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.
His virgin birth. Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31, 35
His sinless life. Hebrews 7:26; 1 Peter 2:22
His miracles. Acts 2:22; 10:38
His substitutionary work on the Cross. 1 Corinthians 15:3, 11 Corinthians 5:21
His Bodily resurrection from the dead. Matthew 28:6; Luke 24:39; 1 Corinthians 15:4
His exaltation to the right hand of God. Acts 1:9, 11, 2:33; Philippians 2:9-11; Hebrews 1:3
ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT:
The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make mankind aware of our need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living and guidance in doing what is right when we ask and seek to be filled with the Spirit. He gives spiritual gifts severally as He wills, and with evidence of growing maturity in Jesus Christ, those gifts are revealed and can then be used for His purposes and powerfully influence and affect our world for Christ. A Christian’s responsibility is to seek and to live under His will daily.
11 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13; John 14:16,17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12, 3:16; Ephesians 1:13; Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 5:1; 1 Corinthians 12:4-7, 11, 18, 29, 30
ABOUT SALVATION:
A free gift for all who will receive. The grace of God, which brings salvation, has appeared to all men. Repentance toward God and faith and confession in the once for all sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ is our qualification. We are saved by grace through faith alone.
Titus 2:11; Romans 10:13-15; Luke 24:47; Titus 3:5-7

ORDINANCES OF THE CHURCH:
- Baptism in Water. The ordinance of baptism by symbolic burial with Christ in the waters of baptism should be observed by all that have truly repented and in their hearts have truly believed on Christ as Savior and Lord. In so doing, they declare to the world that they have died with Jesus and that they have also been raised with Him to walk in newness of life. Matthew 28:19; Acts 10:47, 48; Romans 6:4
- The Lord’s Supper. The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements, bread and fruit of the vine, is the symbol expressing The Lord’s covenant with us. It is recognized as a memorial to His suffering and death for us on the cross. John 6:48-57; Luke 22:19-20; 11 Peter 1:4; 1 Corinthians 11:26
